How to cook soup with meatballs and rice in a slow cooker:

Finely chop the onion and grate the carrots. Sauté vegetables in vegetable oil in a multicooker in the “Fry” mode until soft, stirring occasionally.

Then add sweet bell pepper, cut into small strips. Fry everything together for about 2-3 minutes.

Add rice, which must be washed in several waters until the water becomes clear.

We also add potatoes cut into small cubes here.

Pour water, the amount of which depends on the desired thickness of the first dish. Add laurel leaves, salt and favorite spices to taste. We continue cooking on the “Soup” mode until the beep sounds. Lately I have been using the “Multi-cook” function (vol. 110*C)

Meanwhile, you need to form small balls from the minced meat. First add chopped onion, garlic, salt and spices to the minced meat). I didn't add the egg.

Place the meatballs in the soup 10-15 minutes before it is ready. At this point you can add fresh herbs.

We pour the finished hot and aromatic soup into plates and invite everyone to the table. Bon appetit!!!

If you want to surprise your family and cook “pilaf” in an unusual way, present them with two-color “rice” with meatballs in a slow cooker. This is not a very familiar dish - a version of fried vermicelli with rice, and even with a meat additive, will be not only tasty, but also original. You can use any meat for this – pork, beef, chicken (the dish will be prepared faster with chicken meat).

Ingredients:

  • rice – 1.5 multi cups
  • orzo pasta – 1 multi cup
  • pork – 400 g
  • carrots – 1/2 pcs (if they are small, take a whole one)
  • vegetable oil – 3 tbsp.
  • onions – 1 pc.
  • yolk – 1 pc.
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • paprika – 1 tsp.
  • salt and pepper - to taste
  • water – 4 multi glasses
  • number of servings – 7-8 pcs

How to cook meatballs with rice in a slow cooker:

The first step is to prepare the meatballs. Grind the pork pulp through a meat grinder. Peel the onion and garlic, turn it through a fine mesh meat grinder, and add it to the minced meat. Add the egg yolk, salt, pepper and stir. It is better not to add egg white; without it, meat products are much softer and tastier.

Roll the minced meat into small meatballs the size of a walnut. It is more convenient to do this with wet palms, so the minced meat will not stick to the skin.

Turn on the multicooker using the “frying/stewing” mode. Pour vegetable oil into the bowl and add meatballs. Turning occasionally, fry them on all sides until crust appears. Our task at this stage is not to fry the meatballs until cooked, but to “seal” them so that they do not fall apart later. Remove the fried meatballs from the bowl.

Place peeled and chopped carrots into a bowl. Fry it as usual until golden brown, this will take about 10 minutes. Then place the carrots in a separate bowl.

After frying the carrots, there is vegetable oil left in the bowl. There is no need to pour it out; we will fry the pasta on it. So, pour the orzo pasta into the multicooker bowl and, stirring constantly with a spatula, fry until brown. It will take us 10-12 minutes. If you don't have such a paste, you can skip this step.

Place the fried carrots on the rice, and then the meatballs. Fill it with water (it’s better to take boiling water right away), close the lid of the multicooker and turn on the “cereals” mode. Pilaf with meatballs in a slow cooker will take about 45 minutes to cook (this depends on what type of rice you used). Open the lid and taste the rice - if it is ready, then the dish is ready.

Serve hot, garnished with herbs. Bon appetit!!!

How to cook soup with meatballs and rice in a Redmond slow cooker

Start by preparing the meatballs for the soup. They will need the best minced meat. You can buy ready-made or grind any meat you like (chicken, veal, pork). Some people add an egg and a tablespoon of flour to the rolled meat, but the meatballs will hold their shape without these ingredients. For taste and aroma, you can add chopped onions and garlic, any seasonings and spices, don’t forget to add salt. Mix everything well and with wet hands form small meatballs. The best size is approximately 3 cm in diameter.

Place them on a cutting board with a small distance from each other so as not to stick together, and put them in the refrigerator for now.

Peel the carrots, wash and cut into strips. Many people often chop carrots on a grater, but you will agree that the sticks look much neater and more appetizing in the soup.

Chop the peeled onion into small cubes. If one of your household members does not like boiled onions in soup, you can throw in the whole head or cut it in half, and then pull it out of the finished soup. Another trick is to grate the onion on a fine grater, then it will not be visible at all in the plate.

Cut the potatoes the way you like - smaller, larger, cubes, strips or sticks. You can even boil a couple of potatoes whole, and when they are ready, take them out and mash, this will add richness to the soup, although it will deprive it of its transparency. But, of course, it’s your choice!

Turn on the multicooker and set the “Frying” mode. Pour a small amount of refined sunflower oil into the bottom of the bowl and add carrots and onions. Fry the vegetables for about 10 minutes. If it is not customary for your family to fry soups, you can skip this step.

And now the time has come for something that 20 years ago housewives simply would not have believed! Place all ingredients (vegetables, washed rice, meatballs) into a multicooker bowl to cook at the same time. Pour in hot water and set the “Soup” or “Cooking” program.

The tender and rich soup will be ready in 45-60 minutes (the exact time depends on the model of your household appliance). 1-2 minutes before the end of cooking, do not forget to throw finely chopped greens into the bowl.

Soup with meatballs and rice in a slow cooker will not let you down, because it is guaranteed to be tasty and nutritious. And the time that is freed up for you thanks to a kitchen assistant, you can spend with your dear people.

And now everything to the table! Bon appetit!

  • onion – 1 pc.;
  • minced meat – 300-350 g;

Fill the contents of the bowl with it, this way you will save a few minutes; the multicooker will start cooking immediately, rather than wasting time heating the water. Add salt, stir, close the lid. Select the Multicook function at 130 degrees and set the time to 25 minutes. Launch the program.
  6. Chop the washed greens and you can safely do other things. When the signal sounds about the end of the program, do not open the lid immediately, let the finished dish brew for a little while. Ingredients for chicken meatballs:

I cooked rice with meatballs in a Panasonic 18 multicooker (4.5 l bowl, power 670 W).

Peel the onions and carrots, cut them and place them in a multicooker bowl with a small amount of vegetable oil (3 tbsp). Fry the vegetables in the “Baking” (Frying) mode for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally with a spatula.

Place the rice in a bowl and mix with the vegetables with a spatula until the oil coats the grains.

Season to taste and add water.

Place frozen chicken meatballs on top (you can, of course, also use non-chicken ones). To make them, I mixed ground chicken with an egg and chopped vegetables, seasoned to taste, formed into meatballs and froze. But you can use ready-made purchased semi-finished products.

Close the multicooker lid, set the “Pilaf” mode and cook until the end of the mode.
