How the show is filmed, the battle of psychics. Exposing the “Battle of Psychics”: the whole truth about the most scandalous participants in the project. Is it true that psychics exist?

Everyone knows that reality TV is not exactly reality. They consist of a pre-written script, specially invited participants, conflict-provoking conditions and - like the icing on the cake - competent editing. All this turns the ordinary life of the contestants into a real series that millions of viewers cannot tear themselves away from.

website I decided to check what exactly was fake in the 12 most popular reality shows. We admit that the result was surprising: 3 programs unexpectedly turned out to be true.

Pumping car

“Pimp My Ride” is the coolest reality show of the 2000s, where guys converted old cars into fantastic cars with TVs in the cabin and huge speakers in the trunk. But in 2015, the Huffington Post interviewed former participants in the project, and it turned out that not everything was as rosy as on TV.

  • The vehicles remained in the transfer hangars for about six months, and not a couple of weeks, as they showed us.
  • Pumped just for show: firstly, only externally, without affecting the internal parts, secondly, most of the cool gadgets were removed from the car immediately after filming was completed (mainly due to safety rules, such as putting a monitor on the door handle to watch a movie when you open it door, you understand).
  • A completely rusted car, parts falling off - many of these problems were invented by the producers at the very beginning for a greater wow effect at the end.
  • The stories, of course, were also sometimes pumped up.

“I know I'm quite fat, but then they went too far. According to the story, there were candies scattered everywhere inside my car - supposedly in case I got hungry. But I never had candy in my car; it was invented specifically for the show. They ended up installing a cotton candy dispenser in my trunk. I think they loved the idea and just used a fat guy to make it happen."

Seth Martino
  • The ending was often re-shot with the phrase: “Well, we tried. Come on, show us more emotions."
  • The only thing that all participants noted with sincere warmth was- this is the host of Xzibit. As one participant recalls: “He was always relaxed, cheerful and easy-going.”

The Bachelor

  • Firstly, selection: some girls are invited for the sake of ratings, for example, famous models or bloggers. Another part is non-standard types: unusual nationality, profession, extravagant image, difficult fate, etc.

“I didn’t pass the “Bachelor” casting because I was told that, firstly, I wasn’t good enough, and most importantly, my biography wasn’t that interesting.”

  • Filming goes on 24 hours a day, so a lot remains off the air. The material is compiled in a way that is beneficial for a more conflictual or dramatic plot.

“During my interview after the flight, the producer asked me: ‘Do you miss your family?’ The thing is, I lost my family. I burst into tears. After that, they asked me how I felt about the “bachelor,” and during the editing they substituted my crying for this question. It looked like I was crying because the hero didn’t choose me.”

Jamie Otis, participant of the American "Bachelor"

“My friend’s sister went pretty far in one season. She said that the producers almost completely set up the show, and she only went on the show for the sake of free travel.”

Last Hero / Survivor

Agree, “The Last Hero” seems the most real and organic compared to other shows. This is true. But there are also some nuances:

  • As the participants said, the producers often talked with them before voting, discussing and proposing hypothetical options for developing the scenario: “What if such a player leaves today? What if you say that?” These questions generated thoughts in the minds of the contestants and sometimes forced them to make a different decision. This is manipulation, but, on the other hand, it is not direct intervention.
  • The film crew helped the players, but everything was limited to reports that the cameraman had borrowed a lighter (but later in the program they showed that the fire was started thanks to glasses and sun rays) or the journalist shared toffee. This is the maximum.
  • As for the theories about the hotel where the participants actually live and pretend to be Aboriginal people in front of the cameras, there really was a hotel. But only for the film crew and usually on a neighboring island. There were only 5 people at the scene with the teams: 2 cameramen, 2 journalists and a doctor.

Conclusion: Based on the accounts of all the former participants and organizers, the show was real and challenging as the producers followed very strict protocols. This can be confirmed by the fact that many heroes have lost a lot of weight.

The Voice

« Just people singing well is not the criterion that will make a show rated. It’s no secret that “The Voice” is a version of the Dutch project The Voice. Initially, they noted that this is a project about emotions. Therefore, extraordinary and interesting people are necessarily selected as participants: one is a singing plumber, the second has an incredible non-standard timbre, the third is a crazy assistant to a deputy, the fourth is a rocker with dreadlocks, the fifth deals exclusively with academic vocals...”

Evgeny Orlov, music editor of the Russian project

“My friend didn’t pass the blind audition on “The Voice.” He wanted to sing a certain song, but NBC didn't have the rights to it, so they asked him to sing another song, which, frankly, didn't suit his vocal abilities at all. The judges told him the song was too ambitious. It's no wonder the show is so successful because NBC can make it any way they want."

And a little about mentors. If you've always wondered how such sought-after stars can devote so much time to shows, here's your answer:

“We studied with our mentors only a few times, and the rest of the time we were left to our own devices, and to vocal teachers and producers, of course.”

Fashionable verdict

One of the show participants (the sweet girl in the photo above) talked about her “Fashion Sentence.” We present to you an excerpt from the description: “I decided to participate out of my love for adventure and, to be honest, my love for freebies (the winning set remains with the hero of the show). I have a lot of clothes, I have never had any problems, including with male attention. But the organizers asked to come up with some kind of legend. I contacted my dad, and we decided that he would accuse me of having an infantile wardrobe.

I was asked to bring at least 50 items to the studio, of which the worst third ended up being posted on air for analysis. Before filming, stylists spent about 7–8 hours dressing me: the look was selected for me in a mass market like Zara, H&M, etc., they didn’t ask my opinion, they didn’t pay attention to comfort and quality. Moreover, the purchased items were tailored for me. When I asked: “What if it’s not the stylists’ choice that wins, are you going to return the stitched items to the stores?” - they answered me that the stylists’ choice would win. I chose things for my own image from the TV program warehouse. They turned out to be truly amazing: the quality, the choice, and the brands. Chic!

The filming itself took place in a pleasant atmosphere, the hosts and guests were very nice. We supported a pre-agreed legend; regarding the choice of stylists and makeup artists, I expressed everything I wanted (although a lot was later cut out). The stylists’ choice won, and I went home with synthetic clothes sewn in.”

America's Next Top Model

The most unusual thing about this program is its host Tyra Banks. Let's talk about what she achieved with her show, which every girl above 175 cm tall used to dream about.

“My sister participated in the 12th season. Tyra humiliated her in first gear, but after filming she came up and made a speech with an apology and explanations like “This is show business, you know.” The sister also said that the entire staff hates Tyra because of such emotional outbursts.”

lady_jaye

“The thing is that no one wants to take us as serious models. I'm sure the show has turned the process of becoming a top model into something of a farce by producing 3 seasons a year and creating challenges like posing on a roller coaster."

Caridy English, Season 7 winner

And it's true: the show of one of the world's most famous top models failed to create America's next top model. Out of 24 seasons, only 3 participants made it to fame: Caridi English, who became a speaker for the National Psoriasis Foundation; Yaya DaCosta, who played Whitney Houston in the series of the same name, and Analeigh Tipton, who also became a Hollywood actress. Not a single high-profile modeling career.

“I know that in “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” they get money, it’s true: the amount of winnings minus tax. If it had all been bullshit, the show wouldn't have lasted as long as it did. When a participant approaches some large amount, the editors call the manager and consult whether to kill the player or give him a chance to earn everything.”

Liza Maltseva, television and radio journalist

“To get on the show, you have to pass a test. We had regulars - people who took this test 30 times, but never passed.

One day, a friend of my father tried out for the game. He was a smart man, but he failed the test and fell out with my father because of it. Here we constantly have to observe that most people are not able to accept the fact of their failure.

We often have guests. For example, basketball player Charles Barkley and director Spike Lee accidentally destroyed their dressing room. And Tyra Banks was just a bitch."

“They actually took all my stuff and gave it to the Red Cross. The only thing I was able to beg was to leave a couple of my things - they belonged to my grandmother.”

“The money on the card is truly COMPLETELY yours. The only thing is that you must pay tax on this amount. But, in theory, you can only buy one belt. You cannot be forced to spend the entire amount. And I was actually lucky, since one of the producers immediately warned me not to spend all the money, but to set aside the required amount for taxes.

And finally, the main waste that no one sees on air. It lies in the fact that quite a large part of your money goes to the tailor, through whom all purchased clothes pass, so that they fit snugly to the ether. You pay for this service out of your shopping money.”

Hell's Kitchen

The premise of this reality show is simple: 2 teams of chefs compete with each other under the supervision of the infamous chef Gordon Ramsay in a tense atmosphere of his shouts and harsh barbs.

Ordinary people participate, but due to the pressure and “tricks” of the film crew, such as the planned substitution of ingredients, it is simply impossible to tear yourself away from the show. And judging by the words of one of the operators, all this is for real.

“The show is designed in such a way that we don’t have to come up with artificial performances. In addition, it is unlikely that any of the participants would be able to convincingly act out the script, because they are not actors, but cooks.

The trick is quite simple: just send the guys to rest, throw some coal in the stove and enjoy the fireworks.”

John Douglas, cameraman

The Kardashians

The reality show that made the Kardashian-Jenner family the most famous in the world certainly has special secrets to its success. Journalist Mariah Smith, in her analysis of one of the episodes, reveals exactly the principles of assembling this show.

Let's take a closer look. In Season 11, the episode "The Great Chris" has 3 storylines:

  • Planning Kris Jenner's birthday.
  • Kim's birthday.
  • Khloe's ex-husband Lamar Odom overdoses.

These stories are structured so that everything follows the best laws of dramaturgy, that is, with a plot, development and climax, but not necessarily in real time order. Events combined into one episode, logically, should take place at approximately the same time; in the same episode they show (now there is a risk of confusion) how Chris’s boyfriend gives her a car for her birthday. But this scene was filmed in August, whereas Chris's birthday is in November.

It turns out that the August scene was not about a birthday at all and was included in this episode simply because it strengthened the storyline. It turns out that life is life, and some episodes may be specially written/inserted by the writers for impressive development of the series' storylines.

Battle of Psychics / Britain’s Psychic Challenge

Once upon a time it all started with the English show Britain’s Psychic Challenge and spread throughout the world. But psychics did not take root abroad, but in the former countries of the Soviet Union the show won incredible ratings. Despite the secrecy of the entire project, over 18 seasons, some details have been leaked to the press. For example, that some mediums before the show starred in TV series.

As participants in the filming process comment on the show:

“I ended up in the office of the Battle of Psychics agency through HeadHunter. They needed a story producer - a person who had to find a topic, get in touch with real people and use them to write a script for the next story.

For the first topic, I, armed with a bottle of Hennessy and a box of expensive chocolates, went to the deputy head of the press service of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate (I won’t say which one) in order to get hold of archival unsolved cases. Everything should have been like clockwork: the Central Internal Affairs Directorate was a solved case (I doubted it, but they believed in the sincerity of my intentions), and I received an excellent report.

That’s how I came across the 1997 case of the disappearance of 4 girls in the Ramensky district of Moscow. Now imagine: it’s 2010. You are the parent. They call you and say that we can help find your girls. They call people who, after 13 years, have already accepted that it’s all over and that they need to try to forget everything and move on with their lives. And then a voice from the past.

I made one pass and left. I didn’t have the nerves or the conscience.

I will add that the funny characters whose cats break the dishes at night, the parrot opens and closes its cage on its own, and in the absence of its owners commits outrages, are also real, it’s just that most of them want to be in the “box”. Look at yourself and prove to your neighbors that the fairy tales are true. Or maybe they really do believe it.

And about psychics: in fact, they are there, in this project. They are diluted with idiots and tyrants with tambourines. They dress them up just like that and make them look like clowns - sometimes the entire surroundings are prescribed from the very beginning. Mysticism after all.”

Michelle Gauer

“In 2015, I decided to go to the final of the “Battle of Psychics” in the Stakheevsky mansion. The test results were announced only at 2 am, so until 4 am people were still on the site waiting for their idols. When the celebrities left, everyone began to leave, including the security guards, and one of them asked me for directions to the metro. We parted ways, but unexpectedly on the way towards home we met again. I was terribly interested in asking him a couple of questions, and we struck up a conversation. He said that everything is not going according to script, people with real problems, psychics also guess, but not as accurately as they show us. From the test shooting, only hits on the target are retained, and failures are cut out. And it’s true that they take freaks and a couple of normal ones. He also confirmed that Pakhom came for PR, everyone in the film crew knew this, and, for example, Marilyn sometimes really surprises.”

Elizaveta Stepanova

“I studied at the journalism department. One day a television producer came to our faculty and told us how to make a show. A week later, I saw this producer in the role of a medium on the TNT channel in the program “Battle of Psychics.”

Alexey Dvornik, journalist

“I decided to go to the casting of the Battle of Psychics. I don’t have any supernatural powers, I just really wanted to see how everything happens from the inside. (Read the whole casting story.)

A week later they called me, the conversation began with the phrase “Don’t think about it, we are not from the TNT company,” they invited me to talk. There they shared information that they work closely with the TNT casting group, but are not their representatives. They watched all the videos from the casting, and they really liked me, and asked if I would be interested in going further. And for a “modest” 10,000 rubles they offered to get straight to the stage of guessing the person in the car, and this price also includes my own page on some esoteric site, reviews of “real” people and an interesting story of how I acquired the “gift”.

Why do some people need to promote themselves on this show, you ask? Probably because later you can earn big money (for example,

“Battle of Psychics” is a popular TV show broadcast on the TNT channel since 2007. To date, fourteen seasons of the program have been released, and casting is underway for the fifteenth season. This article contains the whole truth about the “Battle of Psychics”.

Program format

"Battle of Psychics" was created in the likeness of a British TV show. Also, similar programs are published in the USA, Israel, Australia and many countries of the former USSR.

In order to become a participant in this project, you must go through several qualifying rounds. The very first and easiest one is never shown to the audience. People with paranormal abilities must determine what geometric figure is drawn on a piece of paper hidden in an envelope. From several thousand applicants, three or four hundred people are selected to advance to the next round.

The second stages differ from each other in different seasons. There may be a test where they need to determine what or who is behind a black screen, and sometimes applicants are given the task of finding a person hidden in one of several dozen cars.

The third round, based on the results of which the final participants in the project are determined, is conventionally called “The Masked Man.” Blindfolded psychics need to determine what kind of person is sitting in front of them. During the existence of the program, Mikhail Porechenkov (who is also the host of the first seasons), Decl, Natalie and others managed to sit in the chair of the invisible man. In different seasons, the number of people included in the final list turned out to be different. The minimum is eight participants, the maximum is thirteen.

The episodes themselves consist of several tests (two to three), based on the results of which the jury members choose the strongest and weakest psychics of the week. The latter leaves the project.

Participants

Many viewers are interested in the question of whether the “Battle of Psychics” is true or a staged show? Of course, doubts may arise, since some participants pass the tests brilliantly, answer all the questions as if they had memorized the answers, while others fail the tasks. Perhaps it all depends on level of skill and long practice.

So, over fourteen seasons, more than a hundred people took part in the “Battle of Psychics.”

The first season was released in 2007. Nine people had the chance to prove themselves. The winner was Natalya Vorotnikova. The second and third seasons were filmed the same year. The number of participants was eight and ten, respectively. The second season was won by Zulia Radjabova. The third winner was Mehdi Ebrahimi-Vafa.

Three seasons were also released in 2008. Their winners were Tursun Zakirova and Alexander Litvin. The seventh season in 2009 was won by Alexey Pokhabov.

Also in 2009, the presenter changed. Mikhail Porechenkov was replaced by Marat Basharov. The winner of the eighth season was Vladimir Muranov. Season nine (2010) won

Every year interest in the project increased. Spectators were attracted not only by the mystical component, but also by the main secret of the “Battle of Psychics” program. Is it true or a stage show shown to us on the screen? This intrigue has haunted television viewers for eight years.

Mohsen Norouzi (2010), (2011), Elena Yasevich (2011), Dmitry Volkhov (2012), Alexander Sheps (2013), Julia Wang (2014) also won the “Battle of Psychics”.

Rumors of a fake show

The project has been repeatedly criticized by the press and television personalities. It has been mentioned many times that by launching this program, the TNT channel is trying to advertise itself. Psychics are constantly under attack and accused of fraud. So, is the “Battle of Psychics” true or a staged show? Of course, like every television program, “Battle” has a production director and other specialists working to create a “beautiful picture.” But we must not forget that real people take part in the project, looking for solutions to real, not fictitious problems. They come and talk about their life tragedies and receive help, completely free of charge.

Perhaps some psychics conduct receptions after the project and take money for it. But this is their job, which should also be paid. Whether or not to turn to people with unusual and extraordinary abilities is a personal choice for each person.

In each episode of the “Battle of Psychics” it is mentioned that participation in the program is free. The presenter also warns inattentive citizens against the tricks of scammers. Several recent programs were devoted to exposing them with the participation of real psychics, and people who suffered at the hands of attackers were able to receive free consultation.

Winners after the project

You can think a lot about whether the “Battle of Psychics” is real or a staged show, but you should understand that real people took part in it, whom you can easily run into on the street.

Some of the participants and winners have gone into the shadows and are no longer involved in extrasensory perception, while others, on the contrary, after the program decided to seriously work with mysticism and witchcraft. For example, Natalya Banteeva has her own coven, where she trains young witches and provides witchcraft services. Mehdi Ebrahimi-Wafa opened an online store where he sells various mystical souvenirs, amulets and more.

There are also participants who have never received money for their prophecies and do not intend to make money from it in the future. For example, Julia Wang announced to the whole country that she does not provide services to the population.

Mikhail Porechenkov about the "Battle of Psychics"

Porechenkov repeatedly noted in his interviews that he is an Orthodox man and everything mystical is alien to him. That is why he was interested in working on the project, in order to find charlatans and make sure there were no superpowers. Surprisingly, there were people who proved the opposite to the actor. Mikhail claims that each participant has their own characteristics and strengths. It was on the program that he became convinced of the existence of psychics.

Marat Basharov about the "Battle of Psychics"

The presenter was repeatedly asked by journalists and just onlookers: “The show “Battle of Psychics” - or a production?” As Basharov aptly put it, he has already erased the language of explaining that everything here is the pure truth. After all, the essence of the program is to find out whether there are people with paranormal abilities, or whether the world is full of only charlatans.

Marat Basharov claims that rumors about the leaking of information to participants and the unreality of what is happening are spread by the “psychics” themselves, who left the project and harbored a grudge.

Skeptics' opinions

Skeptics, who are also co-hosts of the program, always side with the truth. Their goal is to expose unscrupulous participants and bring them to light. During the existence of the project, Lera Kudryavtseva, Elena Valyushkina, psychologists Mikhail Vinogradov and Alexander Makarov were skeptics.

Sergei Safronov, perhaps, can be considered the main skeptic of the project, and outside of it he also doubts psychics. He claims that in all time there have been only five people who really have any kind of power. The rest are either excellent psychologists or worthless charlatans. The whole truth about the popular TV show “Battle of Psychics” will be described in his book, in which the reader will also find advice on how not to fall for a scammer, how to avoid disappointment in everything mystical.

Psychiatrist Mikhail Vinogradov mentioned in one interview that some of the tests (not related to human tragedies) were truly staged, but this was done to make the program more spectacular. In addition, he has no doubt about the existence of psychics, and some participants in the show work in his center and provide psychic assistance to the police and the investigative committee.

Psychics about the project

Of course, negative reviews about the program are most often left by those who dropped out of it in the initial stages. But this criticism cannot be ignored, since the burning question remains about the “Battle of Psychics” project. Is everything we see on screens true or show?

Valex Buyak, a participant in the eighth battle, answered this question in his diary. He said that there is a certain system of leaking information on the show. The first one is unauthorized. Someone from the film crew over the phone (incognito) offers to buy information from him about the upcoming tests for money. But few psychics agree to this. Another form is authorized, when the organizers themselves can hint or ask a leading question. All this is needed for greater persuasiveness, and a lot of money is spent on filming, so good ratings are needed. One day, a test that not a single participant could complete was simply cut off the air.

The whole truth about the “Battle of Psychics” can also be found by an inquisitive viewer in interviews with some of the finalists of the project.

about "Battle"

The famous radio presenter Katya Gordon is famous for her loud statements and unleashing scandals. So, she stated on her blog that she was going to sue the TNT channel for fraud. The whole truth about the “Battle of Psychics” project, in her opinion, is that only charlatans are participating there. And the winner of the fifteenth battle cannot at all be a girl with paranormal abilities, since she worked as a hairdresser and personally, Katya Gordon, dyed her hair.

The girl also stated that she would pay a million rubles to anyone who would demonstrate her psychic abilities in person. According to the Internet public, this is not at all an exposure of the project on TNT, but a way to promote itself through a popular TV show.

"Komsomolskaya Pravda" about the project

On their pages, Komsomolskaya Pravda journalists exposed pseudo-psychics Daria Mironova, Natalya Nosacheva, and Mikhail Filonenko. Their activities after the “Battle” caused discontent among people who turned to them for help. It turned out that while they receive a lot of money for their appointments, they do not help in any way, and sometimes even worsen the situation.

It also became known that some psychics got into the project not because of their abilities, but with the help of connections. There are large centers where so-called psychics work, and they send their wards to promote their services on television, in the “Battle of Psychics” program. The truth or lie behind this statement is also unknown.

"Frank Confession" about the "Battle of Psychics"

An exposé program on the TNT channel released a story on the topic “The Magic of Money.” And, of course, such a popular project as “Battle of Psychics” did not go unnoticed. A woman was invited to the studio who claimed that she was somehow dependent on the “psychic” Daria Mironova. In fact, she gave her money for nothing. Mikhail Vinogradov confirmed that Daria is most likely a fraudster who does not have any special abilities other than psychoanalysis. And she completely accidentally ended up on the TV show “Battle of Psychics.” Whether it is true or false that Daria extorts money from ordinary people is still unknown, since the girl refuses to comment.

People who fall into the clutches of scammers can only wish them sanity, no matter how difficult the situation they are in. You can't believe everything you see on TV, especially a TV show. "Battle of psychics" - real or show? Of course, the second one. This is not a documentary, but an entertainment program. Even despite the participation of real heroes and the help provided to them, we must remember what television is and what it was invented for.

The show “Battle of Psychics” is still a mystery to television viewers. Many fans of the show doubt that real magicians, witches and shamans participate in the “Battle”. Alexander Sheps, a participant in the 14th season of the “Battle of Psychics,” tried to dispel the myth that everything on the show was rigged.

Not everyone believes that a person can have paranormal abilities. According to Alexander Sheps, everything that happens on the set of the program is the real truth. But in order to finally debunk the rumor about staged tests and actors instead of psychics, he cited specific facts that you can’t argue with.

Alexander Sheps admitted that when he was casting for the “Battle of Psychics,” he, like many TV viewers, thought that everything was going strictly according to the script, and that only those who could play their role well would get into the program.

In fact, the show's script is based only on the staging of the tests. And the way psychics behave is pure improvisation. That is why the “Battle of Psychics” does not lose its popularity from year to year.

Another important confirmation that the “Battle” is a real struggle between psychics - the heroes of the program. Alexander Sheps said that psychics investigate real events and communicate with real people who turned to the program for help.

Not every person who has experienced grief will be able to tell the whole country about it; this requires a good reason. Such heroes have already come to the “Battle of Psychics” in season 14. These are relatives of the deceased hockey player Ruslan Salei from the Lokomotiv club, the parents of a tragically deceased boy from Dzerzhinsk, residents of a village near Moscow where an evil spirit lived.

Over all the seasons, a large number of ordinary people who needed the help of psychics took part in the “Battle of Psychics.” Alexander Sheps believes that the program would not be so interesting if actors participated in it.

As for the psychics themselves, Alexander Sheps said one interesting thing about this. As it turned out, a large number of people come to the casting who claim to have paranormal abilities. But only a few pass all the tests in the qualifying round. According to Sheps, of the 12 psychics, only half successfully passed the qualifying round. Since the organizers needed to recruit a certain number of participants, they had to invite to the “Battle” those who more or less coped with the tasks at the casting. Alexander Sheps did not disclose the names of those of his rivals who got onto the show not on merit. But, as he claims, in the 14th season of "Battle" there are those who really have the right to call themselves psychics.

It is worth saying that after six years of broadcasting, “Battle of Psychics” is still popular on Russian television and is one of the highest rated programs. For all this time, there was not a single piece of evidence that this show was a production. Psychics who have proven their paranormal abilities in the program still help people and actively develop their gift further. If you are interested in other secrets of the program, put and

Alexander Sheps, a participant in the 14th season of the “Battle of Psychics,” was able to quickly win the favor of television viewers. Many claim that...

Recently, interest in people with psychic or magical abilities has intensified. This was facilitated by the emergence of television programs dedicated to paranormal phenomena, and the most famous of them is “Battle of Psychics.” In front of TV viewers, psychics and magicians communicate with the dead, look for treasures, predict the weather, remove damage, make diagnoses, look into the past and future...

So what is “Battle of Psychics”, show or reality?

About the organization.

M.V.Vinogradov
The “Battle of Psychics” began with a conversation between the producers of the show and the director of the “Magic Power” center, a former employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Mikhail Viktorovich Vinogradov. Vinogradov claims that he selected psychics for the KGB and was the head of the top-secret center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, where he also top-secretly commanded top-secret psychics on top-secret missions. It was so top secret that even the Ministry of Internal Affairs itself had not heard about it. What a conspiracy! The conversation with the producers turned out to be productive, because it was the employees of “Magic Power” who were the majority among the participants in the first season, took prizes in the first and second seasons, and filming was carried out not only in the building of this center, but also in the apartment of the director, who (if anyone hadn’t noticed) became an independent expert of the program . His fame also grew, and with it, prices for the center’s services increased tenfold. Despite this, the queue of clients is scheduled for several months in advance. To serve this huge flow of clients, Vinogradov also opened the “Center for Legal and Psychological Support in Extreme Situations” (and doubled the capital). Participants in the “Battle of Psychics” work there. In general, the main centers that recruit psychics are “Magic Power” and “Life Line”. The client calls the center, he is informed that he will have to wait (several months or a year), but there is an option to get there literally the other day (today, tomorrow), only it costs twice as much as the previously mentioned price. And many, by the way, peck, scrape the bottom of the barrel and bring in huge amounts of money. However, the appointment may last about 5 minutes, and no one will return the money. Well, “the channel didn’t open” that day, what can you do)) They can also tell you that one session will not be enough and they will intimidate you with damage, etc., I will influence you psychologically, which will force the person to come and pay more. Those psychics who don’t even know psychology usually give up after the first reception. Clients either leave with nothing or realize that it’s all a scam later, when none of the “predictions” come true. There are quite a lot of different reviews about psychics on the Internet. Negative ones sometimes seem rare, and all thanks to specially hired people whose task, for a pretty penny, is to write wherever possible, praising positive comments about how psychics helped them. Naturally, people who are interested in this or that psychic will be more willing to believe positive reviews and fall for the bait.

After Natalya Vorotnikova took the main prize in the first season - a ticket to the James Randi Educational Foundation, everyone forgot about it, the producers, herself, the TV viewers, and Vinogradov. But someone wrote to Randy himself (who was in no mood) about “The Battle” and about Natalya, and he was surprised and laughed. This was made public, and the TNT people in response said something like “Oh yes... She should have gone to Randy... It completely slipped my mind.” It is obvious that in front of Randy, Vorotnikova will not be able to repeat her teletricks and prove that her piercing gaze is caused not by alcoholic delirium, but by a gift. Skeptics of “Battle”, the Safronov brothers, do not hesitate to tell everyone in interviews that everything that is shown to the viewer in the “BE” show is tricks and a scam.

Firstly, not all participants in the top ten are psychics. At the casting, several of the most prominent personalities are selected. A prerequisite is a great desire to build a business in the field of magic. This ensures that they will support the legend, because they are most interested in it. They also take several zero players who will lose in everything. Secondly, victory can be bought. In order to attract those who bought prizes, information leaks are practiced. Hints are also paid. Participants who have not received information create the illusion of the reality of what is happening with their natural reactions. From correspondence with Victoria Subota (participant in one of the seasons):

“How will they pass without draining if you can’t look at anything?! They drain almost everyone, but in doses. For one, everything, for the second, half of the information, for the third, 3 sentences...., and for the last, nothing, otherwise they will also be ignored, like me. That’s why fantasies about certain powers go down the drain. I know this whole kitchen!”

I will also quote Alexey Pokhabov:

“Sometimes leaking information is practiced. There are unscrupulous members of the film crew who have access to certain tests, to the organization of tests, and they can sell information. I was offered to buy the battle when I participated. Prices range from approximately $30 to $50-60 thousand. Naturally, whoever has money can afford it. But I don’t know what he will tell people when they come to him with real problems.”

Future finalists, even before the end of the season, open active sales of their services, and a considerable part of these funds goes to the production company of the project (kickback). Some tests are completely bogus. Everything is spelled out in the script, right down to how the psychics will look, behave, and what to say. At the same time, much in the image works on the show to impress the viewer or intrigue, arouse interest. These could be details such as a scarf, a foggy past, unusual behavior, strange magical attributes, etc. Types are selected. Here, for example, is a generalized list of participants in each season of the “Battle”: a black magician or witch in Gothic clothes and a menacing look, a clown (clown), a foreigner with an interpreter, a nyasha (a young man under 25 with a cute face), an offended participant from the previous season , who believes that he is worthy of first place, a young attractive girl, an uncle with a beard (type - a sage), a shaman (shaman) in skins, with staves, tambourines, and several more people for extras.

Summary of the "Battle of Psychics"
The main goal of the program is to convince the viewer that psychics exist. It is necessary to win over and subjugate a huge mass of people. For this purpose, a presentable scientist with the appearance of an intellectual, Mikhail Vinogradov, sits there in the role of an independent expert. And people are happy to be deceived. A small number of people do not fall for everything that is sucked in from screens and other media. The show's ratings are steadily gaining ground every year. The audience's perception of the show and psychics depends on the editing. If you need to show someone beautifully, they will edit it so that everything will be perfect and shockingly incredible. If they want to remove it and show it from the negative side, it won’t be difficult. Some of the participants have abilities, but only a person completely unfamiliar with magic would believe in the circus shown on TNT. The practitioner sees magic in a structured way, what is it for, and in what sequence. The viewer of “Battle” has a cluttered attic in his head. Not the slightest understanding of the structure of the work, but a lot of conclusions. Hence the belief in wonderful psychics who solve super problems in five minutes, quickly and painlessly. Relying on naive, gullible people who watch TV with their mouths open, and then collect their last pennies and run to the “wizards” in order to get rid of non-existent (in most cases) problems. It is easier for us to believe in a fairy tale than in our own strengths. Absolutely in all editions, all the most difficult tasks are definitely coped with. Otherwise, they would have destroyed the entire system of extorting money. People would understand that not all problems can be solved. But only one didn’t decide (having received his 50-100 thousand Russian rubles) - after all, he didn’t cope with one test in the battle. Eh, I went to the wrong one, because this one didn’t decide then, but that one did. Now I’m selling my apartment/car/kidney and I’ll go see someone who will definitely remove my damage/bring my wife back... But at the same time, psychics specifically give different information when analyzing situations with problems - each psychic says his own thing and mistakes are made. All so that people don’t believe completely, so that they will bring money later, and not complain about the lies.

In general, the main driver is money. More precisely, PR, which helps to make a lot of money from simpletons. “Battle of Psychics” is a commercial project that promotes individuals for the market of magical services. Makes these faces popular and recognizable, ensures a future influx of clients. Before the show you charge 30 thousand Russian rubles for the ceremony, and after - 70-100 thousand per half hour or hour, the difference is obvious. The life of the participants after the project is predictable - the opening of magic salons, the release of books (in which, by the way, they pour water, or, at most, they write something from everyday psychology), receptions at fabulous prices and tours that sell out halls/stadiums. A lot of suckers come to listen to them talk about all sorts of nonsense: how to attract money to yourself, awaken the psychic in yourself by immersing your ear in a jar of jam, etc. A game on the psychological level of the average population, a regular show to distract people from the affairs of the state.

About the participants.

V. Komakhina
The participants in the battle are randomly selected. For example, a scammer Mehdi(you can find a lot of indignant reviews on the Internet) or Mohsen Norouzi who makes a lot of money without helping anyone at all. IN Victoria Komakhina the demon is sitting. But I don’t want to delve into the fairy tales that she told there about her father’s ghost... Here at the gypsy’s Rosa Lyulyakova there are certain abilities - as she said to Basharov: “I curse you!” - and she sealed it: his dacha burned down, his license was taken away, his mother died. Nadira Azamatova says that she is surrounded by 30 angels - it is clear that they are demons. Season 11 Winner Vitaly Gibert- a clown, which ones to look for: “I will hug you, and everything will be fine with you, and I will remove the curse, and your personal life will improve. Make a wish - I’ll make it come true now.” What he can do well is talk nonsense.

Participant of the 7th season, hereditary witch Ilona Novoselova in fact, in the past - Andrey. From a family in which no one has any abilities. Andrei put on a wig, women's clothes and looked for adventures in that very place (in the literal sense) and asked everyone to call him Lyuda. And then Ilona appeared. I wonder how a former boy became a HERERAND witch? People who knew her as Andrei say directly that a sponsor appeared who got him involved in the magic business and turned an ordinary guy into a hereditary witch.

Natalya Banteeva- an interesting shot. A vulgar, boorish woman, convicted of theft, prostitution, drinking alcohol and appearing drunk in public places. Now an experienced alcoholic and criminal has risen and is committing major scams in her “Natalia Banteeva Personal Development Center.” Sells candles and trinkets bought from joke shops as charged talismans and amulets, organized "Wake Up" seminars and travels around the country with a bunch of charlatans. She has 100% powers, and they are not white at all. There is a demon inside her. You can clearly see how she changes when, for example, she yells at someone, and already looks like a man, not a trace of the woman. By the way, she also has a demon on her arm. What a legend the repentant witch created! The tale about the monastery, after which she supposedly became white-white, is nothing more than a cunning tactical move, because victory in the “Battle” gives a lot. And it is impossible to win by saying that she is a witch. People are more pleased to see bright and kind magicians, rather than hardened warlocks. And you can’t just escape from dark forces. Bald Tanya from “Battle” (I don’t remember her last name), who works on the film crew, is Banteeva’s best friend, and now the latter is anonymously listed on the staff of “Battle”, and selects rated and watchable candidates for participation in “Battle” at the casting, and Of course, he spies in his center those on whom he can make money. Go to Banteeva’s website in the CASTING section and you will understand everything yourself http://banteeva-centre.com/kasting. In seasons 10, 11, 12 and 13 there were her “students”, someone betrayed her, someone used her, but apart from creativity, they had nothing, emptiness.

In Season 13, an impressive witch Elena Golunova(has no abilities) behaves at least unprofessionally. When a practitioner goes to a churchyard, he does not indicate “I am the mistress here!” There is only one owner there and she must be respected. The churchyard is not a circus. Coming there screaming “I’m the coolest here” and with cameras may end up backfiring. The result of the series: working for the camera and complete disrespect for burial sites. By the way, when she runs to the cemetery, she has nothing in her hands. In front of the cemetery, she takes out of her bag (was someone carrying it? It seems like the witch doesn’t trust anyone with her things) a flashlight with a strobe light to scare away dogs. Not surprisingly, the animals fled. Regarding the test with treasure under water. Did you feel the cross? So it is not difficult to assume that there were drowned people in a large reservoir, and people also bathe there and may lose crosses and other decorations. Moreover, there is no way to check this. But she pressed for pity: “How can it be, he did me a favor, but I can’t help him.” All that was left was to cry some more to make it even more convincing. The ritual in the boat itself is something. Why did she cover her face, and specifically her mouth, and not her eyes? If you think logically, spirits don’t see the face anyway, they see the soul. And why should they bleed, why should the spirits be afraid of drowning again? Funny. I made a small cut - everyone around me oohed and ahhed: “Oh! She cuts veins!” Water with blood pours strictly to the 4 cardinal directions, and certainly not to “hold” it to anyone, and when it spills, a conspiracy is read, but the “strongest witch of Siberia” remains silent! In general, another circus!
Leonid Konovalov, participant of the 2nd “Battle”:

“I watched the latest episodes of BE-13. What Kadoni’s mother does: she cuts her hands, sprinkles some kind of powder, has nothing to do with extrasensory perception. This is some kind of quackery. This show is painful to watch."

Season 13 Winner Dimitry Volkhov in fact, his last name is Burikov, a former skinhead and Nazi. In order not to write for a long time, I will provide two videos from his past: first And second, as well as quotes about him from the forums, and I’ll let you draw your own conclusions:

“Oxide (OksID) stuck to him because of the online nickname-pseudonym that he took for himself, as in the case of Veles. His participation in this show for me personally only proved the fakeness of the entire program, because... He never showed any psychic abilities. He was interested in paganism, but was never a sorcerer. In general, I laughed almost to tears when I found out that he was on this show, like most people who know him. They made him into a Gibert type, staring piercingly, the fans themselves will do their job by sending SMS for him. Now I watch this show solely for the sake of extracting the lulz from his SUDDENLY revealed psychic abilities. I know him, and I am sure of the complete absence of any psychic abilities in this character. One thing pleases me. Dimka will become very famous thanks to this show. Don’t be fooled by quackery, that’s my main point.”
“Volkhov Dmitry (Veles) is a “student” of Natalia Banteeva. They are keeping silent about this so that people will not once again point the finger at Natalia Banteeva. And the original guy, red-haired Maxim Grigoriev, who allegedly abandoned the Battle, was a diversionary maneuver to avert all suspicions about Banteeva’s involvement. They all led seminars together as part of the “Wake Up!” project. even before “Battle 13”.
Leonid Konovalov, participant in the 2nd season of “The Battle” about Volkhov:
“As a psychic, he is a weak person. In some tasks it felt like a little information was leaked to him. For example, when, blindfolded, he began to describe, while in the palace, what pictures were painted behind his back. I don’t believe in his abilities at all. I don’t understand why he sets fire to all kinds of twigs and grass. I don’t see that these procedures put him into a trance or that it would help him with extrasensory perception. On the contrary, it seems that at times he feels some kind of awkwardness from such actions. I see that he makes “smoke” purely mechanically and sometimes even seems to blush with shame that he does it.” (Taken from Leonid's official website).

Kerro is not a redhead yet :)
Finally, the 14th season. Marilyn Kerro, an Estonian witch, or rather a fashion model))) She speaks and understands Russian perfectly, but still works with a translator. She went to seminars with Gibert and Mano all the way to the Urals. Now he works for the public. The goal is to shock and impress. For example, a task with a generational curse. This is already going beyond all limits, even people who are completely far from magic, but a little more attentive will understand that this whole action is a farce. She took a bottle of water, gave the fish eyes to two women to hold in her left hand, one woman is a participant in the situation, it doesn’t matter who the other is, the leader will do. Then put the fish's eyes into the bottle and add your own blood. Then she set the date of death of the damned. Then he cries and says that death can be deceived. He goes to the intersection (paved in the center of a busy city!) with the damned man and his mother. There the damned man and his mother hold a bottle together high above their heads, and their left hand on their heart (but in fact not on their heart or left), while she waves a knife behind them. Then the bottle breaks on the asphalt, she says: “Don’t look back!” And everyone returns in droves. She's bleeding herself. And at the intersection he hits the same bottle where the blood was poured. Like she bought it off with her blood? And in general, it’s funny that they managed to film the birthing ceremony in half an hour, maximum. While people have been filming this for months)))

By the way, in the 9th issue, when Marilyn was taking the test, a lamp fell there, however, if you rewind and look a couple of minutes before more carefully, you can clearly see that the lamp is already lying there))) And the falling effect could have been created by an ordinary thrown someone put an object there, because no one paid attention to the details - whether the lamp was there or not, so they simply created noise and said meaningfully: “The lamp fell.” Why didn't it go out by the way? If dropped from a height, the light bulb would most likely burn out. Complete nonsense.

And for dessert Alexander Sheps. Before writing about this interesting character, without being distracted from Kerro’s test with the falling lamp, let me remind you that in one of Sheps’ tests there was a falling of a painting, also supposedly mystical, but if you look more closely, Sheps stands with his back very close to the easel with a painting, then the angle changes (Sheps is taken in close-up from the front), and he, moving back a little, catches the picture, however, due to the rapid change of frames in the editing and because of the angle, the viewer does not see the moment of contact between Sheps’ back and the picture. Meanwhile, in the VKontakte group dedicated to him, there is a sect worse than Jehovah’s Witnesses. There are more than 60 thousand subscribers on the personal page and 45 thousand people in the official group, and the number of fans and blind believers is constantly growing. And only women... The girls elevated him to the rank of god and no longer know how to bend to both the shepsik and the admin of his official group. The witch Olga (as she called herself), from Sheps’ group, promised to curse all ill-wishers, since the full moon was coming soon. And all because of the messages where she wrote (a married lady with a child) that she wanted Sheps under the blanket. She, apparently, is not aware that Schwepsssssssssssssssssssssss special. He has Misha))) As soon as Misha was identified, Sheps hid him in his list of friends, but did not take into account that in Misha’s friends the “psychic genius” himself still appears))) I think that soon he will ask Misha to hide himself.

Sheps-toastmaster and Sheps before the image in "Battle"
Regarding his orientation, it is a known fact; this is confirmed by his registration on the relevant portals. The accounts have now been deleted, but resourceful people managed to take a screenshot. His email is indicated there, to which his verified VKontakte page is still linked (with a checkmark confirming that he is a real famous person; checkmarks are not just handed out). By the way, his number is 89269107102 (for fans and FANS).

A green checkmark means that the email has been confirmed.

An advertisement posted by Sheps himself on one of the forums (click to enlarge and compare the mail with the previous advertisement):

Shepsik was friends with Ilona Novoselova (the one who is Andrey), but she sent him because... he wanted to promote himself at her expense. Sheps' classmates (Samara theater actresses) claim that until December last year
He didn’t have any abilities; they suddenly appeared after he interviewed Ilona Novoselova. That’s how he met, and suddenly became a psychic))) As we already know, Ilona herself doesn’t have anything special, therefore, she gave Sheps the idea of easy money, and he realized that it was a really cool idea to become a psychic. Now he is confident that a candlestick on a stick, colored lenses and bags of soil will help him breed suckers better. His VKontakte group, by the way, appeared when he passed the selection for “BE”, this seems to hint that he had not previously been involved in magical services. But he is being actively promoted to victory. Sheps paid more with Kerro. That's the whole point. Well, plus, don’t forget that Banteeva is in the battlefield and is preparing Kerro for herself, and maybe Sheps. So it’s clear where the wind blew from. The admins don’t allow old photos of Sheps into the group, otherwise the whole magical image will be erased in 5 minutes)) After all, he is a media boy. They call those who know the truth envious and immediately send them to ban, and Sheps himself, like a touchy young lady, does the same. What is the reason for such capriciousness? Other psychics, as well as media persons, have not noticed such actions, they simply do not pay attention to what they say, and sometimes they say such things about them that mother, don’t worry! And what psychic has not been called a charlatan? It seems to me that such actions by Sheps only confirm that he was stupid, went to such a show without clearing information about himself in advance, where possible. And he himself suffered. So now we should ban those who tell the truth?)) All the same, stupid youngsters who are fanatics will not believe in her, but will only believe Sheps, who created for himself an image a la the dude from the recently popular film “Twilight”, which made all the girls squeal. Sheps' calculation turned out to be correct))

Sheps studied at the theater institute (Samara State Academy of Culture and Arts) to become an actor in dramatic theater and cinema. Worked as an actor at the Hammer Theater; led television projects, including with the stars of the capital’s show business; was the presenter and administrator of the Special Events Studio "Atmosphere", a leading model of fashion boutiques, a showmaker, the organizer of the reality show "Ready for Anything" on the Skat TV channel, the general director of the ART-Leader group of companies that entertains people; wrote scripts, songs and sang (it’s better not to hear). I planned to release a solo disc with original songs. In Samara he was a famous DJ (DJ Alex Energy), TV presenter of the program “Agents of People's Control” (“Skat-TNT” and “TV-3”). I’ll add about the “Ready for Anything” show, which he wanted to organize in Samara in 2007. After things didn’t work out for him as a director, he started looking for suckers - he went to institutes and held auditions for a new reality show, collecting 500 rubles from those who wanted to get on TV. Naturally, there was no reality show. After collecting 500 rubles from a large number of people, he disappeared, and only this year surfaced in Moscow in the “Battle of Psychics.”

I also suggest you look video from Sheps past. Now Alexander Sheps is a psychic))) Initially he planned to get to Dom-2, but he was not considered interesting,

And then he recorded wherever possible, and suddenly a person similar to Sheps was needed to participate in BE. He galloped like a mad horse, because he understood that if he could appear on TV in a program that was broadcast throughout the country, then it would be much easier for him to move on in life. It is practically impossible to find out anything about some incomprehensible person, and who needs that? He's a teen idol and they don't care about anything. He will be supported by gays and girls who are not doing well, but they believe that everything will be fine. The audience is not small! He performs strange rituals that contradict magical ones (for example, he sprinkles grave soil in a circle, although the circle is drawn in magic either for protection or for a pentagram, and certainly not with grave soil). I poured graveyard earth around, quickly bring my package!!! Wow!!! What else? Will the dead come and bite everyone? His staff is from a souvenir shop, only it has runes on it. For example, Dzhigurda was photographed with the same person))) Well, okay, that’s enough. Here's a link to his page, check it out for yourself.

Each of us has heard about the popular television show “Battle of Psychics,” but there are still people who believe in what is happening on this project! Just the other day, the famous Russian actor Mikhail Porechenkov said that this program is a deception and a lie. But, let's take it in order.

How much do battle psychics earn?

The television show “Battle of Psychics” has a huge audience! According to some information, it exceeds the 10 million mark. Spectators' interest is aroused by the amazing investigations and demonstrations of their supposed superpowers by the show's participants. It is clear that such an audience brings good money! Unfortunately, it is not known how much the TNT channel pays to the participants in the battle, but it can be assumed that top psychics receive a lot of money.

But this is not their main income. After all, the contestants are their own projects, they earn money from their name, like real stars! How? It's simple! If you type the name of any participant in the battle into the search bar of your browser, you may stumble upon their personal websites. So, on these sites psychics provide their services. There you can also see the price list; of course, not everyone has it, but we managed to find it from some magicians and sorcerers. Incredibly, some of them charge from 5 thousand rubles for an online consultation! And this is just a consultation, getting to know the problem you are interested in!

Naturally, you can make money from tragedy, and this is roughly how sorcerers make money! In desperation, a person can commit rash acts, give away his last money, in the hope of hearing support or advice. And if you are helped by a person from the screen who participated in a popular show and demonstrated his abilities throughout the country, then this gives even more confidence in the result!

They have always said that the show is a good production! Let's be honest, there are more than a dozen organizations in the world that are ready to pay huge amounts of money to a person who proves his superpowers. One of these is the Houdini Prize. The winner of the award can receive a million dollars for his extrasensory talent: telepathy, communication with the dead, obtaining information using various objects, etc.

The heroes of the television show “Battle of Psychics” also took part in such an experiment. Despite very simple competitions and tasks, the applicants for a million failed all the tasks, although during the program they found people without any problems and coped with the most difficult tests!

The other day, the former host of the program, Mikhail Porechenkov, who worked on the project from 2007 to 2009, visited one of the radio stations and announced live on the air about deception on the famous television show.

“I worked with them for a long time. Kaldy-baldy, as they used to say in childhood. All lies! Yes, completely. What is there not to disclose? I'm telling the truth. Have I upset everyone?

The current presenter of the program, Marat Basharov, immediately responded to this statement.

“I don’t know why he says this. If you think that those tears of people who are in the frame, tears of joy or grief, are all staged, everything is played, then very good actors are participating in the program. In fact, at 42 years old, I have learned to distinguish people’s genuine joy, regret or grief from fake ones. If someone thinks that this is not true, let him think so.”

The rest followed! Former participants and employees of the “Battle of Psychics” began to make excuses, look for arguments and facts. Although no one brought a real argument!
